Another concert at Sandy Lake

Matthew and Annie both sang in choirs that competed at Sandy Lake. After they competed, they got to enjoy some of the rides there. By the way, both choirs placed 1st.

Famous Texan

Matthew picked Joe Greene as his famous Texan. Funny story - so Matthew is a very literal fellow, and when deciding his costume for Mean Joe Greene he wanted to know what we were going to do about his hair and well you know, skin color. After having a good laugh, we informed Matthew that he would just have to be a very pale Mean Joe Greene. The day of the Famous Texan, I told Matthew's teacher the story and she laughed and said she was grateful for our decision because she didn't really want to be on the 10:00 news that night! Anyways, he did an awesome job. Other famous Texans that day included Jason Castro, one of the Jonas Brothers and of course a certain president, just to name a few.

Nebbie Williams art show

Here is a sample of art work that were displayed at the schools art show. We feel very blessed that the kids are in a school district that feels so strongly about Arts and the kids absolutely love it.





Amanda was in the art club, so this year she worked the art show doing face painting!

Concert at Sandy Lake

Nebbie's band performed at Sandy Lake and took first place. It is hard to see Amanda, she is on the left hand side, second row --- see her, the pretty blonde playing clarinet?

The budding artist

Michael's picture was chosen to be displayed at the district wide art show. We are very proud of our little artist!

Field trip to the Dallas Zoo

Nebbie's kindergarten classes took over the zoo. The kids were so excited that we literally ran from exhibit to exhibit, not time to waste! Michael loved spending the day with his best buds at the zoo. I loved the fact that there were so many volunteers that there were only 3 kids to two moms, what a great ratio.
