Christmas Eve

Grandma and Papa Pelletier arrived at our house while we were at Six Flags. We were very excited to share some of our Christmas tradions with them. Unfortunately daddy had to work on Christmas Eve, but the rest of us enjoyed each other while we made gingerbread houses and Christmas sugar cookies!!!

Grandma and Papa were happy to help with the gingerbread houses. Ok, Papa was really reluctant, and Grandma struggled with the directions; but I think they enjoyed making these creations with the kids, even though it meant Papa had to shower again because he was so sticky from the icing (LOL).

The kids love making sugar cookies each year, and the adults love enjoying them!!!

We are off to see Christmas lights in Dallas. We got in our PJ's, loaded into the van and headed off to Highland Park (a very nice area in Dallas that doesn't spare a light bulb). We were very impressed with the lights, and the houses weren't to bad to look at either.

We ended the night with setting out cookies for Santa; and of course, putting reindeer food on our lawn so that the reindeer had something to eat while they were waiting for Santa to deliver all the presents and eat his cookies. One last check on NORAD to see exactly where Santa was and then off to bed.
